The gardens have endured 9/11, Hurricane Sandy, COVID-19, multiple relocations, and endless neighborhood development and reconstruction, and have always bloomed reliably and abundantly each spring, expressing life, beauty, diversity and tranquility in an unlikely spot – next to West Street and in the shadow of the World Trade Center.

Our Amelanchier x grandiflora “Autumn Brilliance” (commonly called “serviceberry”) tree was recently planted and will provide visual interest across all 4 seasons.
