2018 Ladybug Release!
Anne O'Neill, the director of horticulture, sustainability and landscape design at Battery Park City Parks and her team recently released ladybugs and lacewing larvae in the Liberty Community Gardens and across Battery Park City. The lacewings will emerge soon and eat a multitude of aphids as a natural pest control.
