Liberty Community Gardens are located at the corner of Albany Street and West Street. The gardens are maintained by community members, who pay a small annual fee to be assigned a plot for the season.

Liberty Community Gardens has a waiting list. When the Rector Street Bridge and ramp are deconstructed (please note: a date has not yet been set for this deconstruction), Liberty Community Gardens is expected to expand westward and acquire land for about 20 more plots. To get on the waitlist, email Liberty Community Gardens at liberty_community_garden@yahoo.com. We will send you an application/contract and ask that you return it to us with a check for $5 payable to Liberty Community Gardens, which will hold your place on the waitlist until a plot opens up for you. At that point, your $5 will be applied to your first annual membership fee.
